Sabres Call Up Catenacci

The Buffalo Sabres have called up Dan Catenacci as reported by The Buffalo News.  Taken in the third round of the 2011 NHL draft, this will be Catenacci's first call up to the NHL and he deserves it.  As Sabres coach Dan Bylsma is quoted in the News article:
" You earn the opportunity to come up and play," Bylsma said. "To me, there's no question. Me watching him last week and the reports" from Rochester coach Randy Cunneyworth and staff  "is Dan has been one of the best, if not the best, at his game the last 10 or so games and earned the right to come up here. That's what it needs to be."
Catenacci's call up was precipitated by an injury to Marcus Foligno suffered in Thursday's game against the Boston Bruins.  The 23 year-old pivot will be on the fourth line with David Legwand and Nicloas Deslauriers. Catenacci has 16 points (7 goals, 9 assists) in 36 games with the Rochester Americans this season.
