Minnesota Wild Place Brodin on IR, Recall Graovac

The Minnesota Wild have placed Jonas Brodin on injured reserve with a broken foot suffered on February 4, and will be out 3-6 weeks according to a report by Fox Sports.  The left-shooting defenseman who was selected with the number 10 overall pick in the 2011 NHL draft has six points (1 goal, 5 assists) in 50 games for the Wild this season.  In a corresponding roster move, Minnesota has recalled Tyler Graovac from their AHL affiliate Iowa Wild.  Graovac, a pivot, has put up seven points (2 goals, 5 assists) in 19 games for Iowa this season.
