Mikkel Boedker Traded to Colorado Avalanche

The Arizona Coyotes have traded Mikkel Boedker to the Colorado Avalanche according to a tweet by Hockey Night in Canada:


In 62 games with the Coyotes, Boedker has notched 39 points this season (13 goals, 26 assists).  Set to become an unrestricted free agent after this season, his full year cap hit is $3.75 million according to capfriendly.com.

The Coyotes will receive Alex Tanguay, prospects Conner Bleackley and  Kyle Wood, per a tweet from Mike Chambers.  The veteran Tanguay has 22 points in 52 games with Colorado this season.
