Jaden Schwartz To Come Off IR?

Jason Brough of Pro Hockey Talk reports that the St. Louis Blues have sent Ty Rattie to their AHL affiliate Chicago Wolves today, and that this move could portend the return of Jaden Schwartz from injured reserve.  Schwartz has been on IR since suffering a fractured ankle in a practice drill last year.  The 23 year-old winger had a very strong season offensively in 2014-15, notching 63 points (28 goals, 35 assists) in 75 regular season games.  In seven games prior to his injury this season, Schwartz picked up 4 points.  Schwartz is set to become an restricted free agent after the current season. As with the vast majority of restricted free agents (RFAs), it is very likely that Schwartz will re-sign with the Blues.  The question will be whether Schwartz is able to return to form and continue the production he had prior to his injury. The Blues do not have much room under the cap currently, but they will have several players with expiring contracts this July, which should free up the room to sign Schwartz appropriately.
