NHL Call Ups: Penguins, Devils

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Scott Wilson as reported in the Post-Gazette.  Penguins' wingers Beau Bennett and Chris Kunitz are both injured, prompting the call up.  This will mark the third time that the left-shooting winger has been called up from Wilkes-Barre / Scranton.  Wilson has 34 points in 32 games at the AHL level this season, 20 of which are goals.  Kunitz's injury, according to the newspaper article, is suspected to be back or neck related, while Bennett is being placed on injured reserve.

The New Jersey Devils have called up defenseman Marc-Andre Gragnani on an emergency basis, as reported on NJ.com.  The move was required because both Adam Larsson and David Schlemko missed practice on Monday due to illness.  The left-shooting Gragnani has spent four games with the Devils this season, while notching 15 assists in 28 games at the AHL level.
