Sabres' Biggest Need

The Buffalo Sabres' biggest need is a top line right winger according to a recent article in the Buffalo News by John Vogl. Tyler Ennis has shown much improvement, and as Vogl writes, "has shown flashes of brilliance". If he is on the second line, the Sabres become a stronger team.

Looking to unrestricted free agency, All-Star caliber right wingers are scarce. Martin St. Louis may be the most sought after, however, he has made his desire to stay in New York City clear. A trade could be a possibility. The most likely chips Buffalo could include in a package would be related to their high draft slot. Don't expect them to part with their number two overall pick though, which will most likely be spent on Hobey Baker Award winning Jack Eichel.
