Rangers and Stars Updates

As reported by the New York Post, New York Rangers' defenseman Kevin Klein is ready to play in game one of the second round playoff series. Per Klein:
“I feel in good shape, I’ve been skating a lot, I feel strong, which is a positive,” Klein said. “I feel I can be out there 100 percent, and with the team.”

Klein had been out of the Rangers' lineup for an extended period of time due to an arm injury.

The Dallas Stars have had a few key players undergo hip surgery as reported in the Dallas Morning News recently. Trevor Daly, Jamie Benn and Ales Hemsky each had hip surgery, addressing hip pain they experienced during the season. It's expected that all three players will be ready for the start of next season in early October.
