NHL Notes

Tyler Johnson was the only undrafted player in the list of top 20 NHL scorers this season, notes the Tampa Tribune. Johnson scored twice in Tampa Bay's 5-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings yesterday. More news and notes from around the league:

Big picture: For the first time in nearly three decades, the Sabres will draft a true No. 1 center they can build around. Eichel has all the tools to become a franchise player, which is what the Sabres wanted all along.
