Sabres and Blue Jackets AHL Forward Trade

In a trade announced on Tuesday, December 16, the Buffalo Sabres received AHL forward Jerry D'Amigo from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for AHL forward Luke Adam, according to NHL.com.

D'Amigo, who was originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2009, and hails from Binghamton, NY, played in 22 NHL games with the Leafs last season, notching 3 points.

Adam is a left-shooting centerman who was drafted by the Sabres in 2008, and has seen 87 NHL regular season games.  In those 87 contests, he's notched 26 points (15 goals, 11 assists).
