Rangers Trade with Kings for Dan Carcillo

The New York Rangers have traded for Dan Carcillo from the Los Angeles Kings, sending a conditional 7th round 2014 draft pick the other way according to NBC Sports.

Carcillo is a 28 year-old winger, who was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2003, and has played for the Philadelphia Flyers, Phoenix Coyotes and Chicago Blackhawks as well.  He played in four playoff contests for Chicago last season, en route to their Stanley Cup Championship.

Over 359 regular season games, Carcillo has racked up a hefty 1,136 penalty minutes, which should give you some indication of his penchant for tough play.

He has played in 26 games for the Kings in 2013-14, with 2 points and 57 penalty minutes.
