Artificial Trade Deadline?

Could the Olympic break act as an artificial trade deadline and heat up the NHL trade market? Certainly possible according to a recent post at Fan Nation via SI.com. There will be a roster freeze between February 8 and February 23 during the Winter Olympics in Sochi. That leaves a mere ten days for NHL trades to occur post-Olympics. The thought is that teams might be more willing to get their ducks in a row and conduct a deal to not only move money off their books early, but also to consider players involved in Olympic play who could be injured while competing internationally.
