Andrew Cogliano Signs Four Year Extension with Anaheim Ducks

The Anaheim Ducks have signed forward Andrew Cogliano to a four year contract extension according to the team's website.  Cogliano made it clear that he wanted to remain a Duck:
"You could always test free agency, and there might be better deals out there, but at the end of the day, Anaheim was the play I wanted to be. They were the team that traded for me from Edmonton and believed in me and gave me a good situation here. Whenever a team trades for you, and shows faith in you, the right thing to do is make it work, and find a contract to stay"

UPDATE:  As reported on nbcsports.com, the deal is worth a total of $12 million, with a $3 million cap hit annually, and a varying annual salary.
