Senators Recall Hoffman

The Ottawa Senators have recalled forward Mike Hoffman according to The Hockey News and the team's website.  Hoffman, a left wing from Ontario who was selected by the Senators in the fifth round of the 2009 NHL entry draft, has played in four regular season NHL games over the past two seasons.  While playing with the Senators' AHL affiliate in Binghamton this season, Hoffman has notched an impressive 26 points in 21 games.  In other recent moves, Ottawa has assigned defenseman Mark Borowiecki and Derek Grant to Binghamton.

Did you know.......Hoffman scored 52 goals in 62 regular season games while playing in the QMJHL in 2008-09?
