NHL Snap Shots: Klesla, Bryzgalov

The Phoenix Coyotes have recalled defenseman Rostislav Klesla from their AHL affiliate in Portland according to Yahoo!.  Klesla was placed on waiver by the Coyotes, which he cleared, and although he was assigned to Portland, he did not play for them.  The big blueliner, acquired in a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets during the 2010-11 season, has 3 points in 15 games for Phoenix this season.

In his first start of the season, goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov earned a victory and shutout for the Edmonton Oilers as they defeated the Nashville Predators, 3-0.  The Oilers signed the former Flyer and Coyote netminder in early November, had him prepare with their Oklahoma City AHL affiliate, and then quickly got him on the ice with their young team.
