NHL Jersey Tuck Rule Implemented

It didn't take long for an NHL player to get their first tucked jersey penalty of the year. It was not the player you might've thought it would be however. Alexander Semin was assessed a delay of game penalty for having his jersey tucked in during last night's preseason game. The new rule was implemented for the first time in 2013-14, receiving much scorn from players and fans alike. The rule in particular affects Semin's former Washington Capital teammate, Alex Ovechkin, whose signature look includes one side of his jersey being tucked in.
