Corey Crawford and Chicago Blackhawks Agree on 6-Year Extension

According to ESPN, the Chicago Blackhawks and goaltender Corey Crawford have agreed on a six-year, $36 million contract extension. Crawford, who will turn 29 on the last day of 2013, led his team to the Stanley Cup Championship with a stellar regular and post-season in the lockout shortened campaign.  His regular-season save percentage and goals-against-average were .926 and 1.94 respectively.  He only improved on those marks for the post-season, saving at a .932 clip and allowing a meager 1.84 goals-against.
