Philadelphia Flyers Re-Sign Defenseman Brandon Manning

As reported on Pro Hockey Talk, the Philadelphia Flyers have re-signed defenseman Brandon Manning to a one-year deal.  The deal is reportedly two-way.  Manning, a left-shooting undrafted defenseman from British Columbia, played most of last season in the AHL with the Adirondack Phantoms.  He picked up 21 points in 65 regular-season games for the Phantoms, while also seeing six games of NHL ice time with Philly where he notched two assists.

Previous to joining the Flyers, Manning was on the blue line for the Chilliwack Bruins of the WHL.

Manning is described by the Hockey News as a "puck moving defenseman".
