NHL Snap Shots: Sabres Sign Tropp, Senators Sign Da Costa and Red Wings Sign Andersson

The Buffalo Sabres have re-signed forward Corey Tropp according to Yahoo!  Tropp, who was selected by Buffalo in the 2007 draft, last took to the NHL ice for the Sabres, scoring 8 points in 34 games.  Tropp played a bit for the Rochester Americans in 2012-13, but missed most of the season with a knee injury.  In other NHL signings:

  • The Ottawa Senators have re-signed Stephane Da Costa to a one-year deal.  The 24 year-old forward has played parts of the past three seasons for the Senators picking up 7 points in 35 regular season games.  
  • The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed center Joakim Andersson to a two-year deal.  The 24 year-old forward played five games with the Wings in 2011-12, and most of the lockout shortened season in 2012-13, seeing 38 games of regular season ice time, and notching eight points.
