2014 NHL Free Agents - Martin Brodeur

Martin Brodeur is finishing up a two-year extension with the New Jersey Devils paying him $9 million for the 2012-13 and 2013-14 NHL seasons.  Brodeur's 2012-13 was shortened by not only the lockout, but by injury.  The 41 year-old netminder, who some consider the best to ever play the game, will most likely share his duties with the newly acquired Cory Schneider in 2013-14.

Outlook
If Brodeur stays healthy, plays well in 2013-14, and wants to play in 2014-15 he will.  And it will be for the New Jersey Devils.  But that is a lot of "ifs" to come together before we see Brodeur on the ice and not in the announcer's booth or coaching for the 2014-15 season.
