NHL Snap Shots: Panthers, Pardy, Santorelli

Florida Panthers' General Manager Dale Tallon has stated that their team will "go young", as reported by George Richards at On Frozen Pond.  This is particularly accurate with respect to their forwards, where there is only one player over the age of 30 on the current roster of centermen and wingers.

The Winnipeg Jets have added big, left-shooting, defenseman Adam Pardy to their squad via free agency. The deal is reportedly for one-year at $600,000.  Pardy started his NHL career with three seasons in Calgary, before signing with Dallas in 2011.  He was traded to the Buffalo Sabres, with Steve Ott, in exchange for Derek Roy.

The Vancouver Canucks have signed center Mike Santorelli according to the Vancouver Sun.  The forward played most recently with the Winnipeg Jets in 2013.  He appears to be inked to a one-year $550,000 deal with the Canucks.
