NHL Snap Shots: Jeffrey, Grebeshkov

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Dustin Jeffrey to a one-year deal according to Yahoo! and the AP.  Jeffrey, who was picked up by the Penguins in the 2007 NHL entry draft, has notched 27 points in 90 regular season games with Pittsburgh.

The Edmonton Journal reports that the Edmonton Oilers have signed defenseman Denis Grebeshkov to a one-year deal.  The Russian-born blueliner was picked up by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2002 NHL draft, has spent time with the Kings, New York Islanders, Nashville Predators as well as previous stint with the Oilers.  Grebeshkov who is strong on the offensive side of puck, last played with Edmonton in 2009-10 when he was credited with 19 points in 47 games.
