NHL Free Agent Frenzy: Alfredsson, Ference, Emery, Ribeiro, Clowe, Nabakov, Clarkson, Crabb, Ryan Traded, Horton, Nystrom, Filppula and Weiss

Free agents can officially sign with NHL teams as of noon eastern time today, so expect a flurry of activity.  Some of the players in play include Daniel Alfredsson, David Clarkson and Ray Emery.  There is word that Alfredsson is strongly considering the Detroit Red Wings.  As Bob McKenzie of TSN tweeted earlier:
UPDATE TO THE ABOVE:  The signing of Daniel Alfredsson by the Detroit Red Wings is official.
Clarkson is from the Toronto area, and has previously expressed that he would like playing in front of his home town crowd.  If Toronto can afford his services, I would expect that Clarkson would be a Maple Leaf for the 2013-14 season.
