Drewiske Re-Signed by Montreal Canadiens

The Hockey News reports that the Montreal Canadiens have signed Davis Drewiske to a two year deal.    The deal is reported to be worth $1.275 million over the two year extension, with $625,000 coming next season and $650,000 in 2014-15.

The defenseman from Wisconsin, who was a member of the Los Angeles Kings in the 2011-12 regular season, when they went on to win the Stanley Cup (although Drewiske did not participate in the playoffs) was traded by that organization to the Canadiens at the trade deadline in 2013.

In nine games with the Habs in 2013, Drewiske notched 3 points.
