Phoenix Coyotes Re-sign Defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson

According to report at ESPN.com, the Phoenix Coyotes have re-signed Swedish defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson to a deal worth $5.5 million annually for six seasons.  Ekman-Larsson, the Coyotes first round, sixth overall pick in 2009, has been playing with the Coyotes for the past three seasons.  Last campaign he notched 32 points in a full slate of 82 games, with a healthy 13 goals (5th most in the NHL).  The big blueliner was earning $900,000 annually, but was a $1.75 million cap hit considering bonuses according to capgeek.com.
