Martin St. Louis Will Not Be Traded Per Yzerman

Martin St. Louis will not be traded.  Per GM Steve Yzerman, as reported by Pierre LeBrun of espn.com:
"Marty St. Louis is not going to be traded," Steve Yzerman told ESPN.com on Friday. "He remains one of the best players in the league and an extremely important player to our team, both on and off the ice. We are a team in transition, we just made a coaching change, Marty is one of the leaders of the team, he is not going anywhere."
This is the news that most Tampa Bay Lightning fans wanted to hear.  The Lightning will not be holding a fire sale.

St. Louis is having another strong season with 42 points (8 goals, 34 assists) in 33 games.  He has played all but two of his NHL seasons with Tampa Bay since his start at the highest level (1998-99).
