Jaromir Jagr a Prospect for 2013 NHL Trade Deadline Deal?

At least two Dallas Morning News experts have indicated that Jaromir Jagr has great value at this year's trade deadline, at that the Dallas Stars might want to move him for prospects.  Dallas is not guaranteed a playoff spot at this point in the season (they sit ninth in the Western Conference as of this post).  The thought is that you don't want to give up prospects or draft picks to land a veteran presence that may or may not put you into the top eight spots in the playoff race.

Jagr has continued to produce like one of the young stars in this league, along with some of his other aging veteran colleagues.   In 29 games this season, he has 12 goals and 10 assists while averaging over 18 minutes of ice-time per game.  Those offensive contributions are good enough to lead the Stars in both goals and overall points.

There has been some speculation that Jagr might spark his former team, the Philadelphia Flyers, to make a push for the playoffs this season.  Frank Seravalli of philly.com asks whether the Flyers should re-acquire Jagr?
