Edmonton Oilers Trade with Toronto Maple Leafs

The Edmonton Oilers have traded a 2014 conditional fourth-round draft pick in return for right winger Mike Brown from the Toronto Maple Leafs according to a report by foxsports.msn.com. The 27-year-old right winger had played for the Maple Leafs for two and a half seasons. This season, he had played in 12 games, notching a point in 56 minutes of ice time. The Chicago native is signed through the 2013-14 season, making $750,000 per season according to capgeek.com. It's been reported that the conditional draft pick that Toronto receives could be improved, based on Brown's performance in Edmonton.
