NHL Injury Update: Brodeur, Nash, Backstrom

Rich Chere of the Star-Ledger reports that the New Jersey Devils have recalled goaltender Keith Kincaid as Martin Brodeur continues to be day-to-day with a sore back.

Greg Wyshynski reports on the Puck Daddy Blog at Yahoo! that although star Rick Nash has not been able to play lately, the New York Rangers have been very quiet about what Nash's injury might be.

Forward Niklas Backstrom is hopeful to play for the Washington Capitals against the Carolina Hurricanes as reported in the Washington Post by Katie Carrera. Casey Wellman has been recalled from the AHL Hershey Bears in the event that Backstrom cannot play.
