Los Angeles Kings Send Andrei Loktionov to New Jersey Devils

The Los Angeles Kings have granted the wish of Andrei Loktionov and traded him.  He was sent to the New Jersey Devils for a fifth round draft pick according to cbssports.com.  This appears to be a win-win for both teams since the Kings get a draft pick to help build their team, and unload a player who was not content in their organization.  The Devils meanwhile get a center who needed a change and don't give up a whole lot for him.

The 22 year-old center was taken by the Kings in the 2008 NHL Draft, and saw his first NHL action with Los Angeles in 2009-10.  Loktionov had seven goals and seven assists in 59 regular season NHL games with the current Stanley Cup Champs.
