Ottawa Senators Call Up Mika Zibanejad

The Ottawa Senators have called up their sixth overall selection from the 2011 NHL Draft, Mika Zibanejad, according to foxsports.com.  Senators General Manager Brian Murray was quoted in the article as saying about Zibanejad:
''He's starting to play well,'' Murray said. ''I think he's a guy that Paul will want to give a game or so to right now and find out a little more about him. As I say his speed and his size should be an asset for us.''
Murray's reference to Paul is head coach Paul MacLean.  According to a quote from coach MacLean in the Ottawa Citizen it sounds like this is an opportunity to get the youngster up with the NHL team, but that he may not necessarily see much ice-time, if any:
“We have an opportunity to bring him in and he has played well since he has got healthy down there,” said MacLean. “We’ll decide if we want to play him in a game."
The 19-year old forward from Sweden was with the Senators briefly in 2011-12, seeing ice time for 9 regular season games.  Ottawa has been playing well, with three wins in five games so far, however, with Zibanejad's AHL team on All-Star break, the timing was right for Ottawa management to take a look at him.
