NHL Waiver Wire News: Janssen, Boychuk, Devils, Hurricanes, Penguins

Bob McKenzie reports that New Jersey Devil Cam Janssen cleared waivers.  He will now be sent to the Albany Devils.  He also tweets that Zach Boychuk has been claimed off waivers from the Carolina Hurricanes by the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Janssen has played in at least 43 regular season games over the past four seasons, but saw just 10 minutes of ice time in three games this season.  Tom Gulitti reports on Fire and Ice, that Adam Henrique and Adam Larsson will be on the New Jersey Devils roster tonight in their matchup with the New York Islanders.

Boychuk, the 14th overall pick in the 2008 NHL Draft, had played sparingly for the Hurricanes, seeing ten minutes of ice time this season.
