NHL News and Notes: Subban, Stars, Sharks and Devils

Pat Hickey reports in the Montreal Gazette that P.K. Subban's deal was in his favor regarding structure, while the term of the contract was in Montreal Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin's favor.  Subban's first year of his two-year deal will be pro-rated for the lockout shortened season, earning him much less than the $2 million per season noted in his contract.
